At Sidney Federal Credit Union, everything we do starts with you. Because of the trust you place in SFCU every day, we’re proud to share something special: in 2026, we’re committing $1 million to support the communities we all call home.

This yearlong initiative will support four essential areas that help our communities thrive: Housing, Food & Basic Needs, Education, and Transportation.

This isn’t just about donations, it’s about meaningful, lasting impact. Throughout the year, we’ll be partnering with local organizations, hosting community activations, and creating opportunities for both our employees and members to get involved and make a difference alongside us.

The Impact Project

Reason #56: Stepping Up Where Help is Needed

We’re proud to share our first donation presentation to The Impact Project, and a conversation with Executive Director Jim Willard about the heart behind their mission.

Based in Greene, NY, The Impact Project serves homeowners across Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, and Northern Broome Counties through critical home repairs and accessibility improvements, helping families remain safe, stable, and secure in the homes they love.
