Sidney Memorial Day Parade
This year, Sidney Federal Credit Union is proud to sponsor the 2026 Sidney Memorial Day Parade as part of our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve. This year’s parade carries even greater significance as our nation commemorates its 250th anniversary, a milestone that invites us to reflect on the sacrifices made to protect our freedoms.
To make this event even more special, we are combining our Hometown Parade efforts with this one to create one celebratory parade that stands alongside local organizations and businesses to help recognize and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Supporting events like this reflects our role as a community partner and our belief in coming together for what truly matters; yesterday, today, and for generations to come.
There will be no separate SFCU Hometown Parade this year; we look forward to welcoming the Sidney Hometown Parade back in 2027!
Route:
The parade will travel through Sidney along the following route: Steiner Road → Main Street → River Street → Veterans Memorial Park
Start Time: 9:00 AM
Parade Lineup Begins: 8:00 AM on Steiner Road
There is no registration, and the parade is open to all participants! Units are encouraged to arrive early to allow for proper staging and coordination. Please note that several roads will be closed for the event and parking will be limited. Participants should plan accordingly!
