About the NFF

The National Forest Foundation was chartered by Congress to work with communities and the U.S. Forest Service. It is ranked as a Platinum Charity by GuideStar & a 4-Star Charity by Charity Navigator.

Span 193 million acres, offering more than 150,000 miles of trails, 4,300 campgrounds, 1,200 boating sites, more than 30% of the official Wilderness Areas in the U.S., Picnic sites, cultural and historical sites, and 122 ski resorts hosting over 1/2 of all annual skier visits in the U.S.
