What documents do I need to apply for an auto loan?

If you’ve already selected a vehicle, you may be asked to provide details such as the year, make, model, mileage and purchase price. If you haven’t chosen a vehicle yet, SFCU can often provide a pre-approval based on your application, with vehicle information required before the loan can be finalized.

Prior to finalizing the auto loan we will request a signed purchase agreement, proof of insurance with SFCU listed as lien holder and a copy of the warranty agreement (if you are purchasing one).
