Year in Review
We are a proud, purpose-driven organization deeply integrated into our community. We've sponsored events, funded impactful projects, provided financial education, and our team has volunteered extensively. Committed to environmental stewardship, we've planted trees and strive to make a positive impact with integrity.
Education
We offer Financial Education Sessions and Scholarship opportunities to empower individuals with essential financial skills and support their educational goals.
Fund it Friday Donations
Staff donate generously to area nonprofits and wear jeans on Fridays to show their support.
Community Support
We proudly donated to community organizations and supported numerous events through sponsorships.
Planting Trees
Our partnership with the National Forest Foundation is just one initiative to support our planet and ensure a greener future for generations to come.
Education
Financial literacy presentations provide essential skills for managing money and making informed financial decisions. In 2023, we delivered over 200 financial education presentations to over 2,100 attendees and awarded over $13,500 in scholarships. Together, these efforts pave the way for financial stability and a brighter future.
Sponsorships & Donations
SFCU and all that work here are dedicated to making a difference in the communities where we live and work. Through charitable contributions, event sponsorships, and volunteering we give back to support the well-being and growth of our communities. Our staff supports local charities and enjoys a casual day at work with Fund It Friday! It's a win-win! And we do not stop there - we raise funds for the United Way throughout each year and so much more.
I am proud to be a part of the SFCU team! The credit union values its employees and culture. The transparent and approachable leadership allows the employees to grow. This gives each of our team members the ability to make a positive impact daily, not only to our members, but to our fellow colleagues.
